Audre Lorde
At this time, I do not provide any in-person sessions.
Starting therapy can come with a mixed bag of emotions. While it can be exciting and hopeful, it can also be scary and difficult.
You don't have to do it alone.
The purpose of therapy is to support you with exploring and identifying ways to feel most like yourself, to better navigate the pain that is keeping you from living your preferred life, and to increase connection with yourself and others.
Therapy is a vulnerable process that at times may feel uncomfortable. To heal past wounds, understand your patterns and behaviors, and to fully discover and embrace your agency, discomfort is sometimes a natural part of the process. Together, we can navigate whatever ebbs and flows within the therapeutic space.
I provide many areas of focus. Some, but not all, include: anxiety, depression, chronic pain, chronic illness, anger, grief, gender, sexuality, anxious perfectionism, relationships, work burnout, trauma, and life transitions.
· Chronic illness and pain
· Uncontrollable worry and anxiety
· Difficulty engaging in daily tasks
· Feelings of nihilism and lack of control
· Anxious perfectionistic styles
· Loneliness and grief
· Chronic stress
· Difficulty connecting with others
· Experiences of socio-political oppression including fatphobia, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, sexism, racism, classism, misogyny and more.
